    • Essay Prompt: The LKC Fund prioritizes kindness, empathy, resilience, and service over polish, prestige, or perfection. These qualities mattered deeply to Laura and remain at the heart of this scholarship. Reflect on how one or more of these values show up in your everyday life—not just in memorable moments, but in the ongoing ways you move through the world. How have these values shaped who you are becoming, and how do you hope to carry them forward into your education, your community, and the impact you want to make in the future?
